• Right on Kaanapali Beach in the quiet residential community of Honokowai, this resort provides guests with all the conveniences of condominium living and all the services of a resort hotel; five championship golf courses are located within 5 miles of the hotel.
• With the exception of Hotel Rooms, all units include a full kitchen and a lanai (patio or balcony). Light, airy, and decorated in island style, units contain contemporary touches like track lighting and air conditioning. Most provide the convenience of a washer and dryer.
• A thatched-roof gazebo atop a garden of lava rocks, lush plantings, and waterfalls bordered by a koi lagoon-and-stream accommodate tropical weddings. Two pools, an immaculate sunning lawn, a variety of recreational activities, and the light-colored sand and warm water of Kaanapali beach ensure guests enjoy a memorable Hawaiian vacation.

Unusual for a condominium resort, a grand 1.5-story, light-and-air-filled lobby with several comfortable seating areas greets guests and promises families will have fun, honeymooners will take home memories, and independent travelers will find all the services and facilities they desire.

Property amenities

This 440-room resort offers guests a full range of facilities and activities, including a wedding gazebo atop a lush tropical rock garden. There are shops and a beauty salon. A day camp keeps children active. Oceanside massage, two pools, two spas, and plenty of sunning areas from the beach to immaculate lawns provide relaxation for adults. A weekly rum-punch party with Polynesian music and dance contributes to the fun-and-rest, Hawaiian-vacation ambience.

Recreation

Golf alone makes West Maui famous. Three award-winning, championship courses nestle between the verdant West Maui Mountains and the blue Pacific in Kapalua, 5 miles north of Aston Kaanapali Shores Resort. Two other world-class courses are 2 miles south in Kaanapali. In addition, the Kapalua Golf Academy is nearby.

Three lighted tennis courts are located within the resort. By the oceanfront pool, a beach activities center rents boogie boards, snorkel sets, beach umbrellas, and beach chairs. Scuba-diving lessons and excursions can be booked as well as kayaking/snorkeling tours at the resort's tour-and-activity desk .

With the exception of the Hotel Room category, which provides only a compact refrigerator and does not have a lanai, all condominium units at Aston Kaanapali Shores are equipped with a full kitchen (including dishes, glassware, and cookware) and have a lanai (patio or balcony). Units are spacious, light, airy, and contemporary in such details as track lighting. All contain island-style furniture. They're air conditioned and offer cable-television Internet access for e-mail, games, and pay movies; a telephone data port; and an in-room safe.
