The Sheraton Molokai Lodge and Beach Village covers 54,000 acres on Molokai and was originally owned by the chief Kapuaiwa, who later became King Kamehameha V. After its first life as the setting for royal visits and a second incarnation as a cattle and pineapple farm, the Molokai Ranch was sold in 1986 and transformed into its current state as a rustic yet upscale resort. With its rich history, isolated location, and two different lodging options, the resort offers a one-of-a-kind experience. The Beach Village sits right on the beach, while the Lodge is 8 miles inland. Shuttle service runs all day between the Lodge, the Beach Village, and the various activity sites on the property. Property amenities![]() The Lodge has a heated outdoor pool, a fitness center, and a spa with a massage and therapy room. Guests can also relax in the Lodge’s billiards room and library. (Some amenities listed below are at the Lodge, but are available to all guests.) The Beach Village is located on a golden-sand beach and also has a lawn with horseshoes and croquet. All guests at either lodging location have access to a wealth of recreational activities, such as snorkeling, horseback riding, mountain biking, archery, fishing, kayaking, and much more. A daily $10 (plus tax) resort fee per room includes unlimited use of the on-property shuttle service between the Lodge, Kaupoa Beach Village, and various activity sites (from 7 AM to 9 PM); shower and locker facilities for guests with early arrivals and late departures; use of the fitness room, Lodge pool, and sauna; use of safe-deposit boxes for all guests and in-room safes for Lodge guests; daily New York Times fax; use of Internet access stations; and faxing and copying services. Fee is subject to change. Self parking: $5-15 per 24-hour period.
PoliciesExtra person charges may apply depending on hotel policy.
