Na Pali Coast Park
Na Pali Coast is one of Hawaii's (and, arguably, the world's) most spectacular hiking parks. Pali means "cliffs" in Hawaiian. The outstanding beauty of green scenery and rugged coastline makes Na Pali Coast the Hawaii's most visited attraction. Sightseeing of marine life - dolphins, turtles, monk seals and whales - adds popularity to Na Pali Coast.
Waimea Canyon
Waimea Canyon is located on the west side of Kauai island. It is often called "the Grand Canyon of the Pacific", but it is smaller in size and a mere 200 million years younger than the Grand Canyon of Arizona. Wailua River and Fern Grotto
Wailua River on the east coast of Kauai is the longest navigable river of Hawaii. It has some splendid scenic attractions, that is worth seeing, if you travel to Kauai Hawaii. First, it is the twin waterfalls of Opaekaa. Opposite the falls on the banks of the Wailua river is the reconstructed Hawaiian village. If you rent a kayak, you can explore one of the most romantic Kauai Hawaii's attraction - Fern Grotto It is the natural rock amphitheater, tucked into a thick collection of beautiful tropical ferns.
National Tropical Botanical Gardens
National Tropical Botanical Gardens include five gardens, and three of them are located on Kauai, Hawaii. The National Tropical Botanical Garden is dedicated to the conservation of tropical plant diversity, particularly rare and endangered species. The colection is unique -more than 5,000 species of plants and flowers.
The gardens of Kauai are: Limahuli Garden and Preserve (on Kauai's north shore in Haena), McBryde Garden (Lawai Valley, on the south shore of Kauai), Allerton Garden (Lawai Valley). more >>
